About Wolf Child
Wolf Child is a fashion t-shirt brand by illustrator Sabrina Wolfchild. Sabrina worked previously designing graphic tees until 2013 when she decided to go solo and start Wolf Child.
Sabrina is a self taught artist and has created art as long as she can remember. Her inspiration is drawn from the ancient cultures of the world, the majestic beasts of the wild, vintage 60's and 70's rock posters, tarot card readings, flea market finds, crystals, starry skies and the mysteries of the earth and mankind. Sabrina strives to create a balance of beauty, art and design. Her dream is to create vintage-soft tees and beautiful iconic designs that people feel a connection to.
When she's not creating for Wolf Child, Sabrina spends her days thrifting at flea markets, working on her paintings, hiking in lush woods, attending monthly art openings and taking in the amazing nightlife of the Portland music scene.
At Wolf Child we believe in responsibly designing and manufacturing our garments. When a customer purchases a Wolf Child shirt, we want it to be their absolute favorite shirt ever, one that they throw on the second it comes out of the dryer! Our goal is to create mindful fashion that lasts. We aim to be the opposite of fast disposable fashion by creating a garment that will wear beautifully and last for years to come. Because of our beliefs, our work takes time to craft so that each garment is a work of art.
All of our garments are made ethically by people who are paid a good living wage. We believe in transparency in the garment industry and we implement sustainable practices wherever we can. The modal used in a lot of our tees is a sustainable fabric made from the recycled pulp of birch trees. Modal is what make our tees so incredibly soft and wear so well over time. Modal is more expensive but to us it's worth it, not just for the softness and wearability, but also for the environment.
